“Restoring an Preserving America’s Tribute to Her Marines”
MISSION: The mission of the Marine Corps War Memorial Foundation is to restore and preserve the Marine Corps War Memorial; to ensure the Memorial’s sanctity for future generations and to enhance the area known as Arlington Ridge Park.
GOALS: The goal of this foundation is to raise funds to restore and preserve the Marine Corps War Memorial. Furthermore, the Foundation will raise funds to ensure the continued maintenance of the Memorial and enhance the area known as Arlington Ridge Park for the comfort of those wishing to pay homage to the spirit and valor of America’s Marines lost in combat.
OBJECTIVES:
1. To raise funding to complete the restoration and preservation of the War Memorial and grounds, to include:
· Updating the Marine Corps battle inscriptions
· Repairing the Parade Ground Reviewing Stand
· Constructing a comfort station and information area
· Ensuring the design and construction of the main entrance is appropriate to the War Memorial
· Repairing the Memorial’s roadways
· Installing new directional signage on the area roadways
2. To continue the Foundation’s supporting function of ensuring the Memorial Flags, are clean, crisp, and correct, thereby honoring the memory and sacrifice of those for whom the Memorial is dedicated.
3. To continue the Foundation’s annual Iwo Jima anniversary ceremony, commemorating the most historic flag-raising in America’s history.

offerring full I.R.S. Contribution Deductibilty / recognized as exempt, under section 501 ( C ) ( 3 ) of the Internal Revenue Code
The MCWMF, Internal Revenue Service letter of certification. is available upon written request.
