FLAG SPONSOR APPLICATION
The opportunity to sponsor a flag flown over the Marine Corps War Memorial is open to any person or entity who or that wishes to apply. Members, Associates, Friends of Iwo Flags, active duty, retired and former Marines, Navy Corpsmen, Chaplains and Religious Specialists will have priority over other applicants.
All applications are subject to review and approval by the Board of Directors.

The flags flown over the Memorial, are 10’ x 19’ Post flags, pursuant to the specifications set forth, by the
Marine Corps and National Park Service. A fee of $325.00 is required to sponsor and receive a flag flown over the War Memorial. Costs associated include; all shipping and handling, registration, cleaning and certificates of authenticity.
PLEASE NOTE: PER AGREEMENT WITH THE MARINE CORPS THERE ARE ONLY TWELVE FLAGS FLOWN OVER THE WAR MEMORIAL ANNUALLY, RECOGNIZING THE SANCTITY OF THE WAR MEMORIAL.
BECAUSE OF THIS, WE MUST, FROM TIME TO TIME, SUSPEND THE ACCEPTANCE OF APPLICATIONS.
