Due to the incredible initial response to our flag sponsorship program, we presently have an inventory of flags to be flown over the War Memorial and confirmed sponsorship for flags through late 2011.
As you well know the War Memorial is dedicated to our fellow Marines that died in combat. Understanding this and with the deepest respect for the sacredness of the War Memorial, we sponsor twelve flags annually. Our mission is to ensure clean, crisp and proper flags fly above the War Memorial.
We are deeply gratified at this response and sincerely thank all who have become Flag Bearers or have joined as members.
We will continue to accept applications for the sponsorship of flags, and, as the inventory decreases, contact those who have applied. As our inventory is used, we will contact potential Flag Bearers to see if they are still interested in sponsoring one of the flags that will be flown over the Memorial and then returned to them for display. An affirmative response and a check will place that person’s flag in rotation.

Members of Iwo Flags are considered first as sponsors. It is through membership and donations that Iwo Flags is able to function and fulfill our mission. We encourage you to consider becoming a member and offer a donation in support of our important program.
